The world seems a completely different place – less restricted – when you are flying above it! 🙂
Hope your holiday gave you a much neded rest! Sorry to hear you were not well after. I had a mild case of Flu last week, we are having our worst flu season ever here, started early has killed more than twice the number from this time last year and some people are having a hard time booking a shot as supplies are running low. 😦 I had mine but caught it the week after. 😦
Am fine now but even though it is Winter here our weather has been matching yours – hot and dry so far.!
Things should get ‘better’ soon! 🙂

Sorry for the unforgivably late reply. Life has been challenging! I am sorry to hear you were under the weather–horrible to get the flu after getting the shot. Hoping things are back to normal for you.
Fortunately, it has started to rain again here. Dry spring/summer weather increases the chances of an active hurricane season. So, even though I can do without the thunder/lightning, I am happy to see the rain. Hurricane season has only just begun, and am hoping it passes us quietly by this year.

Thanks for the well wishes, i’m back to robust health now, i’m happy to say.
I’m hoping it stays wet there then and you don’t get anywhere near amount of water and violent winds the Mid-West states had recently! My state’s ‘drought’ has well and truly been broken having received more rain in two weeks than for the whole of the year before them! It is likely we will exceed our June average by the end of this week and we could be almost back to the half-yearly average by the end of this month (currently short by 1/3). The gardens can use it and there’s little chance of floods here. 🙂
I’m sorry to hear of the ‘challenge’ of late… if you ever feel like a good rant to blow off a little steam, i’m a good listener/reader. 😉
