My Second Chance Journey With Dan ~ Interlude 222

It’s easier to face whatever life throws your way when there are two.

  1. They are clearly made for each other!

Ours here are all white, with partially black wings and a yellow beak – i love watching them, such superb gliders. 🙂

Hope your weekend is going swimmingly? 🙂

    • Thanks again for your comment. I find it interesting that pelicans look so different in your part of the world. They are very much a part of the landscape here. In fact, many housing complexes, businesses, and so on are named “Pelican (insert a term here).”

The weekend is racing by way too fast, as always. I had so many plans and not enough time. I did finally write about my experience seeing “A Bowie Celebration” here: They are touring “down under” in a couple of months, if I’m not mistaken. If you liked Bowie’s music at any time during his 5-decade career, I highly recommend seeing this brilliant group.

Have a fabulous week and thank you so much!

      • Florida seems to have a LOT of lakes/still water which they seem to prefer. Ours are found mostly on our tidal river areas of the City and in a wetland marsh area south just behind sand dunes that line the Indian Ocean. I don’t get to see them enough these days.

Sorry about the time zooming by but i’m sure you enjoyed doing what you got done. The rest can wait for another time. 🙂

I’ll read about The Bowie Experience and look out to see if they make it ‘Over Here’… my side of the country can be like a different continent to the concert tours. Small population spread over a massive area – The East Coast gets many more big events than we do… although it’s getting better – slowly. 😉

Always a pleasure chatting. 🙂 Take care!
