It becomes all too easy in our modern world to forget that what we are is much, much more than just our ‘borrowed’ atoms clumping together. Atoms have no soul, no memories, no feelings. It’s complicated. 🙂
I’m guessing this one is a Sunrise? Looks like (it was) a beautiful day ahead.
Wishing the same for you. 🙂
I appreciate the time you take to comment. If not for you, it would feel like I am talking to myself out here in the Interwebs. 🙂
It is a sunrise…taken nearly 13 years ago in Southern FL on my original digital camera, an Olympus.
Have a grand week and I hope it has cooled off for you.
Thank you for that; I was feeling a little guilty for ‘intruding’ on what must be a very personal space for you that you still share with Dan.
I have been known to say far too much at times and i would not wish to impose here of have you feel like i was not respectful of
the conversation.
As for talking to yourself: I often wish more people would comment on the (rare times i) blog pages i think are most interesting; I find most people are quite respectful (or are they really unsure/scared?) of the blogs of people they have not had conversations with. I get around 300 visitors a week to my blog but only 6 or 7 regulars make comments and about twice that might leave a ‘like’. Which is fortunate really because corresponding with 300 people and their leaving comments on their blogs would take more than 24 hours a day for me! 🙂
I’ve had my Nikon B700 for 14 months now and still mostly use it in auto mode, only setting exposure bias and zoom function manually. Are you taking many shots selecting some of the manual setting functions? One day i hope to be able to use the camera to the best of it’s hundreds of capabilities! 🙂
The end of this week should be very pleasant but we’re starting off with 2 100F days in a row. 😦
I seriously have forgotten what rain looks like. It’s hard to take good sunset photo’s when there are no clouds in the sky!
Hope Spring is showing signs of new life and colour about you and work does not interfere too much with your enjoyment of same? 🙂
